Empowering success: A near-peer coaching discussion

While more than 30 percent of college students come from low-income backgrounds, nationally they are graduating at rates far lower than their higher income peers. One exception are students enrolled in programs like Catalyze, where they receive ongoing support from a near-peer coach who brings recent, relevant experience navigating the systemic and institutional barriers across the higher education landscape.
